Technical Specifications of Google Glass

Google Glass is the new craze in the market. The tech lovers and gadget fans are all too much eager to know everything about it. You will get complete idea about the spec of the glass by reading this article.
The Google Glass is thin. It is also light weight. That is why it is impossible to fit a battery with a large number of milliamps. Despite of that handicap, the device can run a day if you use it normally. But, remember heavy use may result in rapid draining of the battery juice.
Google Glass is awesome

Google Glass has to see everything what you can see. So, it is equipped with a high quality 5 mega pixel camera sensor. Besides taking snap shots, the camera can record HD videos, too (@720p). The Google Glass has a unique virtual display. The display is equivalent to a 25 inch HD TV seen from 8 feet away.
The “Glass” has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The 16GB internal memory of the device is enough for storing a lot of data, video and music (though, 12 GB is only available for the user). Those who need more space can sync data with Google Cloud. There is a seamless support with it.
There is a touch pad on one of the arms of the glass to navigate the menus. The user can also use his smartphone to do the job. There is an app named “MyGlass” to do it. The “Glass” has the capability of taking voice commands, too.
The Google Glass uses bone conduction sound transmission system to send sound to your year without spreading it in the outside air. This method also helps to save battery juice.
The digital spectacles have 1024 MB of RAM. The OS will use a part of it. 682 MB RAM will be available for the apps to execute. There is a dual core OMAP 4430 CPU to run the thing.
There are many small built in equipments and functions in it. For instance, there is a magnetometer. There are also a proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor. A Gyroscope and Accelerometer is also present in the device.
The Google Glass is now available at a premium price of $1500. But it is expected the prices will fall much when it will be commercially available everywhere. I am looking for buying one, what will you do?
